About

My online shop Plush Addict has now closed. Please note that many of the free pattern automation are no longer running as a consequence.

Is it a good idea for alcoholic run a pub? Probably not…. So a fabric addict owning a fabric shop? Eeeep! Trouble ahead, and hopefully a whole lot of fun if fabric and creating is your thing.

My name’s Kellie and I am a fabric addict. Plush Addict is my online shop which is packed full of lovely fabric and haberdashery. I use this blog to publish fabric guides and tutorials, when time allows.

I also write fabric guides and tutorials for UK craft and sewing magazines. If you’re interested in working with me please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

I hope you enjoy my ramblings and I can give you some inspiration. Fabric porn is guaranteed.

  1. Just wanted to say thanks for stopping by my blog and for the follow. Will be posting last (quite stressful!) steps of my quilt soon. Great fabric shop by the way, will be having a serious browse 🙂

  2. I am looking for waterproof fabric to make a bag for luggage. We carry our luggage on a rack on the back of our motorcycle/trike. I would appreciate any advice you can give me. Thank you so much.

  3. I am wondering if anybody has a pattern for a bandana dribble bib for a 12 year old boy

  4. What fabric would you recommend for me to sew a sofa cover for my Alaskan malamute dog. Lots of hair that I want to keep out of the sofa.
    Thanks for your help!

  6. Hi, we are looking for waterproof lining material to use for curtains in a flat that has metal windows with bad condensation – would any of your products be suitable, what width do they come in and how much are they? Thanks Jenny

  7. Hello
Your shop looks amazing. I have had several failures as I bought fabric on line ( even though I got fabric swatches first.) The fabric in the flesh did not hang correctly as it did not suit the pattern, so I always like to handle the fabric, feel how it drapes and does it suit me when I look in the mirror – so I’m trying to say do you have a physical shop where I can walk into ( fabric heaven ) or do you only have an online shop ? Please say yes you do and it is near where I live !! Forever hopeful. Thanks

  8. Hi! Hoping you can help, I bought a jean pattern that stated use 4 way stretch fabric I couldn’t find any so bought standard fabric. Really pleased with my end result but because it wasn’t 4 way stretch I could get my fat calves in the legs properly- lol! Question is where can I buy such fabric – do you sell it?

  9. Where will if I find the tutorial for the man’s large wash bag as it seems to have disappeared
